Relief for Hicom Tamil School


SHAH ALAM 13 March (MIC) — Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) is striving hard in order to create a pleasant environment for Indian students to concentrate on their studies and achieve high.

247 students of SRJK (T) Hicom, who were studying in a lack of facilities, can look forward to an excellent new 2-storey building consisting of 12 classrooms.

MIC President Datuk Seri G. Palanivel said 2 million ringgit will be allocated from Community Chest and another 50 thousand ringgit from the Prime Minister’s Department for the development of Hicom Tamil School, at Shah Alam after officiating the new building.

According to the Headmistress of the school Madam Vasugee Marimuthu the allocation will be used for the development of the school, such as science laboratory, computer lab, staff room, a field and many more.

Speaking to MIC TV Ms.Chitra Subashini a teacher of the school , conveyed her gratitude to MIC and its President who had helped most Tamil School nationwide in many ways to increase the number of the Indian student enrolment and hope that the party will do more for its students and school in near future.
